It really is no secret that I just love the 24th of July. I don't know what it is, but it's just so much fun! It must be spending the entire day with both of our families. Here's a little recap of Pioneer Day 2007.

Spanish Fork Pioneer Day Parade, sitting in our usual spot with my family at Central Bank.

After the parade, the traditional 24th feast at Doug's Grandma Higginson's with all 100+ people in his extended family!

Everyone standing around waiting for the races to begin - literally. All of the grandkids participated in a relay race. Doug teamed up with all 3 of his brothers, however lost to the team of Todd's kids. Then me, Katelyn, and Mackenzie won our race and won each $5! SCORE!

At Grandma H's request, a picture of her and all of her grandsons.

Beautiful little Ileigh in her cute summer outfit!

And after dinner with my family later that night at Aunt Sue's (with the traditional ham

loaf originally made by my grandma Elaine) of course we went to the Fiesta Days Rodeo! The 24th just wouldn't be the same without it. Going with Doug's family was actually the 2nd time we attended this year...just 2 days earlier we went with my family! Gotta love that rodeo...
