I'm having an oh-my-gosh-time-flies-by-so-fast moment. I feel like it was just not that long ago that my aunt Lecia and Joyce took each of us cousins to an event at the SLC 2002 Winter Games (me and my cousin Annalece got to attend men's figure skating and got our picture taken with Steve Young! I'll see if I can't find the pic and get it posted). And now here we are, today is the opening ceremonies for the 2008 Summer Games! Although this showing of the opening ceremonies won't be as momentous as 2002 (my crazy family actually had a party celebrating the occasion - hey, it was SLC, we were excited ok?), I am still looking forward to it! Oh and boy am I happy for TiVo. Since the best events are always scheduled at seriously insane times of night, I am oh-so-happy for the newest technologies TiVo has to offer. This time I won't miss my favorite events due to crazy scheduling. I can't wait for women's gymnastics (men's just really freaks me out, although I will concede that they are talented) and my favorite - beach volleyball! It is so cool to see nations in situations ranging from war, poverty, and political unrest come together to compete and be united, even it's just for a few weeks. Here's to USA domination :)

Beijing 2008

Hey- your blog is cute! It is different than the last time I saw it. I also can't believe that Landon is 19!! Holy cow!!! He was so funny when I called him. I still can't believe that he has his own cell phone. I am sure he just lights up every time someone calls.
About arpons though, I could handle it and so I am sure that you can too! I would love to show you some time if you really want to make one. Just let me know!
