First of all, I have to give a huge 'thanks' to Mackenzie and Kensie who suggested a girls night out! We had such a blast hanging out just as the Carlson girls. Not that we don't love the bo
ys, but sometimes it's just nice to get away and do girly things. And that we did! After an awesome dinner at the Olive Garden (you can't really go wrong with that restaurant) we headed to the Orem mall to get our nails done. Since Ileigh and Brooklyn were with us, Jessica and Jill volunteered to fore-go the whole nail thing and chase the two girls around the mall, while Mackenzie, Kensie, and I stuck behin
d. Glad I wasn't in a hurry to get home because there was one guy doing all 3 sets of our nails, and frankly it just took forever. But we had a blast teasing him and just chatting, as girls do. Kensie sprang for the bright red glittery tips, while Mackenzie (the first nail-timer) and I stuck with good old fashioned white
. After, we wandered down to the new Disney store and bought Brooklyn some sunglasses. It was so adorable - every time we would put them on her, she would laugh and ope
n her mouth really wide. I think she is just a big show off! And of course, we couldn't leave without getting the other 2 kids (Mackenzie and Kensie!) Disney princess cups :) It was a great night, and so much fun. Girls - we definitely need to make that a regular occurrence! (Don't you love my bright red face in all the pics? FUN!! What ever happened to our Game night?? We need to do something about that. Maybe I will just plan one. What do you think??
