Unfortunately it was a BUST! All I have to say is WHAT is up with this crazy Utah weather? It totally ruined my camping plans for Memorial Day weekend. I had done my research on a fun place for Doug and I to go for camping, four wheeling, and fishing for this 3 day weekend. With the gift certificate Doug got for his birthday from my extended Johnson family (new birthday tradition) he bought us both new fishing poles. Ok, not new for me - it was the first fishing pole I have ever owned. But I was really excited for the first four wheeler all-day ride of the season, and having Doug teach me how to fish. The weather, however, did not cooperate at all. All week long Utah county was drenched with rain and terrible weather. Obviously, that type of weather is not conducive to a fun outdoor weekend. So, Joe's Valley Reservoir camping weekend will have to be postponed for now. This is the picture looking out standing on our front porch. In case the picture doesn't show it clearly - it was absolute sunshine with pouring down rain! Utah weather just does not make sense!
