This year what is usually the Christmas open house at Grandma Higginson's was a full blown party at the Salem civic center. It was really pretty because it sits right on top of Salem pond, which is completely filled with a Christmas light display. They put together a scrapbook for Grandma Higginson about all of her kids and grandkids favorite Christmas memories of her and her husband, Ralph. Doug was one of the grandkids that was chosen to share his favorite memories and he did a great job. I got two great pictures of Doug - one with Brooklyn and one with Jay, his cousin Lindsey's baby boy. We finished the night by going on a carriage ride around the pond. It was cold, but it sure was fun!
