Anniversary & A Baby

Don't get too excited, it's not our baby! For our 1 year anniversary we planned to go on a cruise, but that isn't for another few weeks. So for our actual anniversary day we used our gift certificate to go up to Little America and spent the weekend in Salt Lake. We went to dinner at the Market Street Grill, shopped at the Gateway, and just hung out at the hotel. Our favorite part of staying at Little America is, of course, Sunday brunch. Like always we ate ourselves sick. New this year at the brunch was a pasta bar. With the pasta came your choice of seafood. Doug decided to try it all - squid, oysters, scallops, and muscles and hated every minute of it. He's not a huge seafood fan anyways, but wanted to be adventurous! Let's just say it wasn't really his thing. And I couldn't even bring myself to try it, so he was better than I was. After relaxing all weekend we headed home on Sunday afternoon. When we got home we learned that Jill took Kensie to the hospital this morning at 8:00 am and she was having the baby! So we went over to the hospital and waited for what seemed like an eternity until around 8:00 pm when Brooklyn was born! She is just the most beautiful baby!
