In this picture off to the right I think Doug and I just might be in that crowd somewhere! Yes, we are Black Friday crazy, insane, stupid Day-After-Thanksgiving shoppers. I've been doing it for a few years, and this is the first year that I was able to drag Doug along. Even though it's shopping, I think he actually enjoys it. There's just something about going against thousands of psycho shoppers and then beating them in the race to get the highly discounted Christmas present. I love it! This year we woke up at 4:30 in the morning and we were after a laptop. After a few setbacks (CompUSA had a sale the night before we didn't know about, so we didn't get it, then went to Office Depot and made a slight scene when they said they didn't have any left for costumers because they were for employees) but we got one! And even though we weren't after the rest of the stuff we got, we bought a printer and a laptop bag. And then one of my favorite parts of this crazy day we went to the craft fair at the fairgrounds in Spanish Fork. We walked through and Doug loved this mountain house painting, but it was too expensive and we didn't want to spend the money. Well later that afternoon I went back to the craft fair with my mom and Allison and that painting was being sold for half off! I was so excited so I bought it for him for Christmas. Of course, I couldn't wait that long to give it to him. I was way too excited and gave it to him when we got home! He just loved it and I was so happy that I could make him happy! (And it sure looks good in our living room)
